North Georgia Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Haj grew up in upstate NY and graduated with a B.A. in Biology as well as her D.M.D degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She then completed a general practice residency at StonyBrook University Hospital. Her post graduate Pediatric Dental training was completed at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington D.C. She is Board Certified and previously taught as an Assistant Clinical Professor  at NYU’s College of Dentistry.

Dr. Haj believes in treating each child as a unique individual. Going to the dentist can cause anxiety and fear and she prides herself on making children feel comfortable in this environment. She is a strong believer in preventive dentistry including sealants and parental education. She has spent numerous hours volunteering her time to help children in need including trips overseas to orphanages in Honduras and Costa Rica.

After being in Private Practice in NY for many years, Dr. Haj recently moved to Atlanta, GA (her husband’s hometown) as he accepted a job as a Bone Marrow Transplant Specialist in Pediatric Oncology at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with Emory University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, sports, movies, exploring Atlanta’s restaurant scene and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
